Centerforce Now Offers Select Dual-Friction Clutch Disc Assemblies
Centerforce Now Offers Select Dual-Friction Clutch Disc Assemblies
Due to consumer request, Centerforce now offers select Dual-Friction clutch disc assemblies separate from standard Dual-Friction pressure plate and disc sets. This “disc only” offering will benefit customers wanting the flexibility to make custom applications such as transmission swaps or transmission input shaft changes. It is NEVER advisable to use a new clutch disc with a worn pressure plate and/or flywheel, for this reason Dual-Friction pressure plate and disc assemblies are still available as matched sets. When used with a new pressure plate, the standard Centerforce 90 limited warranty applies to Dual-Friction disc only part numbers.
Centerforce strives to provide top of the line products on today’s market for all performance levels. To do so, Centerforce uses patented processes and constantly tests different materials and designs to find the best combination.
The Centerforce Dual-Friction disc features our patented processes to provide a performance clutch that offers exceptional street characteristics, while offering outstanding holding-capacity and durability. The Dual-Friction disc has a full facing on the pressure plate side for drivability and longevity, while a carbon composite puc style (segmented) facing is used on the flywheel side for a positive engagement and increased holding-capacity. Dual Friction is the ultimate in street/strip holding power and performance without sacrificing pedal effort and driver control.
Centerforce currently holds 9 exclusive patents pertaining to automotive performance clutches. Centerforce uses their patented processes and over 25 years of experience to create the best clutch & flywheel package for your application. Some of these processes include the famous Centerforce weight system, Dual-Friction discs, and ball bearing actuated pressure plates, precision billet flywheels and more. Each application is developed to provide you with the right amount of clamp load, friction, durability and ease of use.
