To whom it may concern, we have built a new Land Speed Racing Car for 2008. This car "will" break class records at The Maxton, NC Flying Mile, The Texas Flying Mile, El Mirage, CA, and most important of all The 60th anniversary of Bonneville 2008. The car is street registered, (license # SS 1951) because it is Americas first production Super Sport, a 1951 Crosley Super Sport. We have scheduled about 20 events that we will be appearing at in 2008.

As you can see we are using some of your products. Starting about the middle of March we will have a web site, (www.crosley1010.com), that can be followed throughout 2008. We appeared at our first show Feb 20-24 (Carl Casper Show) in Louisville, KY and were thankful to see it on TV the first day of the show. My Ford racing experience started in 1996. I would attend the Fun Ford Weekend (FFW) races when it would come to bracket race at my local track. From there I wanted something a little more competitive. That is when I started to race heads up in the Street Outlaw class in FFW in my 1986 Mustang. In 1998 I won my first race that I attended in Norwalk, Ohio and became the first 8-second nitrous car in the history of FFW.

As Street Outlaw grew beyond my budget I had to look for a different class. In 2001 the National Mustang Racers Association (NMRA) created a new class called Real Street. I looked over the rules and knew I had found a new home. I raced my daily driver, a 1992 Mustang, in Real Street during the 2001 season. I have the tools and team that gets to the finals and wins.

The relationship between the Bumble Bee Celica and Centerforce Clutches could not be more successful. The Bumble Bee Celica is a highly modified and highly successful show car.

In the past year the car has received numerous awards at various Hot Import Nights car shows. The car has competed throughout the west coast and has even driven cross-country traveling over 6000 miles roundtrip. Not only has the car traveled extensively, but it also serves as a daily driver.

This is where the uncompromising performance of the Dual Friction Centerforce Clutch has been best served. Since so many miles are put on the car, the ease of engagement and virtually stock pedal pressure of my Centerforce Clutch are two measurables that go a long way in the Bumble Bee Celica's success. Not only does the clutch hold all of the car's increased power output, but driving is not a chore like with other aftermarket clutches I have used in the past.

Recently the car has been featured in such magazines as Maxi Tuning, Hot Import Night, and D Magazine. Dale Earnhardt Jr' Project

THE PROJECT: Dale Jr. was looking for a functional, race inspired, and fun to drive 2nd Generation Camaro. He was looking for a Camaro that had design cues of a 1970's Trans Am road race car.

This will be a turn-key project for Detroit Speed & Engineering (DSE). Upon arrival the car was immediately disassembled. After the car was stripped and media blasted we installed our DSE Mini-Tubs as well as the DSE QUADRA Link to give the Camaro an awesome Pro-Touring stance. After that we installed our 2nd Generation Hydroformed Subframe as well as our Subframe Connectors to increase the car's stiffness.

THE OWNER: We hope Dale Jr. enjoys driving this modern machine as much as he loves driving his race car on the track.

DSE 1970 CAMARO TEST CAR

The Car: DSE 1970 Camaro Test Car with an all aluminum 6.3 liter L92 engine.
The Project: The DSE 1970 Test Camaro is used for engineering design and development on 2nd Generation F-bodies. This car receives all of our early prototype parts for testing. We use data acquisition to collect data on the road and on the track. This Test Camaro is always evolving due to development of new DSE products.
The Owner: This Camaro is owned by DSE and will be on display at the DSE trailer at various shows across the country.
S.W.'s 1969 CAMARO
The Car: 1969 Camaro with a 534 ci Big Block Chevy with a T-56 6-speed transmission.
The Project: S.W. brought this Camaro back to us for a few more upgrades. The upgrades include a F.A.S.T. fuel injection system and the Detroit Speed, Inc. QUADRALink ™
The Owner: S.W. is a true car enthusiast. You will see S.W. driving this car on the road to many events across the country.
PAUL ALDERMAN's 1969 CAMARO
The Car: 1969 Camaro with a Ramjet ZL-1 Aluminum Big Block engine.
The Project: This is a turn-key project for DSE. We are building this project from the ground up. Paul brought the car to us as a complete vehicle. We will strip the car, media blast it, and complete all the body work. The car will get the full DSE front suspension, Mini-Tub kit, and T-56 Transmission Crossmember.
The Owner Paul is excited to drive his ramjet ZL-1 Aluminum Big Block engine powered Pro-Touring Camaro.

The Project: Paul sent us this Camaro for the full pro-touring upgrade. this includes DSE's Hydroformed Subframe, Subframe Connectors, our QUADRALink™ and Mini-Tub Kit. The Camaro will also feature the DSE Roll Cage with engine bay bars.
The Owner This is Paul Alderman's 2nd build with Detroit Speed, Inc. He had previously built a 1969 Camaro that has won numerous awards across the country.
WES KIN's 1969 CAMARO
The Car: 1969 Camaro with a Mast Motorsports engine.
The Project: This was the original Dale Jr. Hot Rod Tour Camaro before Wes King purchased it. Wes will be adding some nice upgrades including the Mast Motorsports engine, a Tremac 5 speed transmission and a GEN IV Magnum air conditioning unit.
ED VANNOY's 1966 CHEVY II
The Car: 1966 Chevy II with an L98 tuned port engine and Muncie 4-speed transmission.
The Project: DSE transformed this "Vannoy Muscle Car" 1966 Chevy II into a modern Pro-Touring / G-Machine muscle car. We customized the dash for a modern, yet functional appearance. This car was converted to a Baer brake system. Power steering was also installed. The rear of the car was mini-tubbed to accept a 285 rear tire.
The Owner: Ed wanted a car he can drive through the winding mountains of North Carolina.

After developing this Lexus IS's Chassis and handling performance for two years, it was time to add some more power. Forgoing the usual routes of prefabricated turbo & supercharger kits, Luxury Motor Works developed a custom Intercooled supercharger kit for this car. Our successful development of this kit resulted in over 350rwhp. The introduction of an ultra light weight flywheel to the drive train provided the opportunity to introduce a more effective clutch, after having a less than positive and frustrating experience with a very well respected Clutch product I was fortunate enough to discover that Centerforce Clutches had a clutch for this car using the same light weight flywheel I was using. The original was developed for a privateer Lexus IS racecar project and I found this Centerforce clutch to be a MUCH appreciated and immediate improvement in clutch feel, modulation and drive ability. It holds the additional power easily and I have no need to look elsewhere for a suitable clutch even when I increase the power of this car. A custom turbocharger is being developed now for more power & I have confidence that this Centerforce Clutch will be up to the job of handling my new power level.

I regularly track the car and drive it daily as well, commuting to & from work 80+ miles a day the clutch holds up in daily driving AND aggressive track sessions in 100 plus degree heat with over 350 hp to the wheels.

Since way back-In-the-day when I was building and racing Datsun 510's 25+ years ago Centerforce has been one of the best & most well respected Clutch options on the market, and I am happy to be able to once again enjoy the performance benefit that a Centerforce Clutch provides.

In my opinion, Centerforce is the best.

Gene Hindman is the 2002 & 2005 NMRA P/S Champ and the 2002 WFC-5 P/S Champ

With dependability, reliability and a pedal feel like a stock clutch, the LMC Series offers those qualities, plus the availability to handle horsepower also. We have used the LMC unit for over 150 passes this season and have not one problem to date. The unit has held up to every obstacle that we have thrown at it.

With 8 consecutive wins and a Championship in NMRA Pure Street for 2005, the unit seems to be invincible. Since 2002 (Also another Championship year) we have been in every Pure Street final but 6 events, so we put a lot of passes on this car and it has had only 2 LMS units in it since the 2002 season.

We hold both ends of the record also at 10.31 $a$t$ 129 mph. I would recommend this unit to either the racer or the daily driver.

The G- Force Cuda has been under plans for a couple of years. This November it came to life at the 2005 SEMA Show. It was unveiled in Primedia's Booth and hosted by celebrity image Bill Goldberg. Multiple concepts were developed by Chris Ito throughout its development. Hundreds of body modifications were manipulated by the team of craftsman at Johnson's Hot Rod Shop.

A lot of time and efforts went into the rear valance area of the G-Force Cuda. This is important since this would be the view the Cuda would primarily have fling by at 200 mph. The hood created challenges for the team. The look while completely modern has the retro look of the early 70's Mopars.

It houses a EFI 572 cubic inch all aluminum Hemi. It has a hand fabricated intake manifold mounting dual throttle bodies and NOS injection. The brushed aluminum and pewter accents contrast with the light weight carbon fiber close out panels. The natural finishes provide a blend of beauty and a sense of purpose and function. The cut outs in the fenders and hood gave them the ability to run 19" wheels custom made from Colorado Custom. The chassis is a purpose built platform with speed and handling set for priorities. From the milled engine plates to the 6 speed transaxle carrier. The chassis is a completely hand fabricated work of art and science. Alan spent countless hours creating the one off set of headers that gently flow from the 2.25" primaries to the 3.5" exhaust system mounted within the frame rails for clearance. The interior follows the theme from the exterior.

A beautiful blend of highly polished carbon fiber brushed aluminum and graphite leather surface provides the driver with the serious feel of speed with a blend of high end luxury. The one off gauge design is finished with a silver and charcoal face with brushed aluminum bezels. This provides the driver central monitoring for critical engine functions such as RPM, oil pressure and temperature.

The one off Colorado Custom wheels are true pin drive knock offs measuring 20" x 12" on the rear and 19" x 10" on the front. These super big hoops are required to cover the huge super trick Red Devil 16" titanium rotors. The G - Force Cuda is truly a modern interpretation of the one year only billboard HEMI graphic along with its double headlight grille. First off, Sergeant Davis needs one new engine from Ford Motorsports. Along with many other additions a Centerforce Clutch. A Novi 2000 Blower System from Paxton Superchargers is added to get the Sergeant to the meets on time. In order to effectively handle the turns we added Eibach's complete (Pro-Kit) suspension. To give the Bullitt some extra class Chip Foose and Nitto Tires added the Rims and Tires. A few other additions from Hawk Performance and Power Slot finished up the brakes. Now the car is off for paint. Don't worry there is a lot more work to be done.

Justin Bullit - Part 3

After installing the new engine and blower it was time for a road trip to SWTuning. After the long road trip the Bullitt arrives and SWTuning. The Novi 2000 Blower System from Paxton Superchargers should be broken in after the road trip. Strap it on the Dyno and make the run. The Bullitt made 475 horse power and 450 ft/lbs of torque on the race tune and then 433 horse power 410 ft/lbs of torque on the street tune. After getting tuned the Bullitt went back to Centerforce and get dressed up for SEMA 2007.

K&N Filters Viper

Still Running on PUMP GAS this Vipers makes 780hp crankshaft and 760 ft/lbs torque crankshaft. The top speed is around 210mph with an 8 liter supercharged by a Paxton Novi Blower running 10psi with a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch assembly. This Viper ran in the Z2z challenge at the Silverstate Classic 2005 and had the highest top speed $a$t$ 181mph.

Race prepped and supercharged, Jerry's Viper is still streetable.

Jerry waits once again for the green flag to drop, this time for the Silverstate Classic Main event, a 90 mile, 200+ mph run across a Nevada highway.

The green flag is raised as Jerry begins the Z-2-Z challenge.A race to from 0 to 200 mph and back down to 0 again.

We wanted to give a further update on our 1969 Camaro. We recently received the Goodguys/Popular Hot Rodding 2000 Street Machine of the Year award at the PPG Goodguys National in Columbus, OH. The award is based on quality of craftsmanship, body and paint, overall engineering, fit, form and function, stance, and overall creativity in design and concept. It was a great honor to receive this award. The car will also be featured in an upcoming issue of Popular Hot Rodding, Goodguys Goodtimes Gazette, and the 2001 Goodguys Goodtimes Yearbook.

We participated in the entire 2000 Hot Rod Power Tour June 1-10. The power tour traveled from San Bernardino, California to Panama City, Florida. Our 1969 Camaro performed flawlessly throughout the entire trip, along with the clutch and flywheel package you provided us.

We received a lot of attention throughout the tour. The car will be featured in the October issue of Hot Rod magazine, the October issue of Chevy High Performance, an upcoming issue of Super Rod, and Hot Rod TV. It will also be on the cover of the November issue of Chevy High Performance. Additionally we won two awards, the GM Performance Parts Power Pick in San Bernardino and the Auto Custom Carpets Magic Carpet Ride Award in San Bernardino. Fastest speed at Bonneville (flying mile) 208.932 MPH with a record of 204.952 MPH. Fastest Standing start mile, 174.757 MPH, best Quarter mile times of 11.53 seconds $a$t$ 118 MPH. (60 foot time 1.51)

All of this performance with a custom 9 inch Centerforce clutch disc, and a production Centerforce® Pressure Plate.

Happy New Year 2011 from Hotchkis Racing. We had a great racing and show season in 2004 and are looking forward to accomplishing even more in 2005. Our Raybestos STS/Hotchkis Tuning Celica ran well in every event and continued to generate significant publicity throughout the year. We continued pushing our message on the East Coast. In May we traveled east for the inaugural International Auto Salon in Atlantic City, New Jersey and then in June, raced in the NASA event at BeaveRun in Pennsylvania.A new type of competition called The Time Attack Challenge debuted on the West Coast and we competed in all three events. Our Celica finished first, second and third in the Super Street magazine sponsored "fastest lap shootouts".

HOTCKIS TUNING/RED LINE OIL TOYOTA CELICA FAST IN STCC DEBUTFontana, CA, March 13, 2005 – The Hotchkis Tuning/Red Line Oil Celica entered the Hankook USTCC weekend at California Speedway as a virtual unknown and left as a true contender. Traditionally this extremely competitive series has been dominated by Acura, Honda and Subaru cars. The Hotchkis/Red Line Oil Toyota Celica was quick immediately and qualified a strong second place. "We had serious competition in qualifying from Acura, Honda, Dodge SRT4, Subaru WRX, Mini and a VW Golf GTI. I am proud to qualify second against these series regulars," exclaimed driver John Hotchkis. The race was exciting and hard fought.

The top eight cars stayed close together for the entire race. The Celica was embroiled in a real dogfight and emerged in seventh place. "We are on a steep learning curve compared to most of the competition. Our car set up was not optimum, and we learned plenty from this race. I am really looking forward to the May event in Phoenix," said John.The Hotchkis Tuning/Red Line Oil Toyota Celica made a lasting impression on the competition. The Menace

Dennis Linson is a friend of ours from Hunter Engineering. He has pretty much done away with everything Chevy II about this car and has built everything from scratch. The frame and suspension are of his own design. All the design work on this car was completed using Pro-Engineer Cad Software. A complete model of the full tube chassis and suspension, along with a model of the 427 Big Block Chevy and 6-Speed T-56 Borg Warner transmission. The car is very near completion thanks to the generous donations from the sponsors listed below.

The firewall was inset 8" to accommodate for the engine being pushed back 8". This will result in a better overall weight distribution for the hefty 427 big block Chevy engine.

The next big body change was to flush mount the front and rear windshield. Here you can see the sheet metal that was used to build of the gap that would normally be covered by chrome trim. When finished the windshields will seal just like the current cars on the road.

The Detroit Speed optima battery mount and Optima battery are now Frenched into the trunk right behind the fuel cell in the trunk.

The door skins have been removed and the door frames have been cleaned up primed and ready for the new door skin to be crimped on.

The engine and transmission combo for the Menace is a 427 Chevy big block coupled to a Borg Warner T-56 6-speed.

The Rat Motor will be topped off with a set of GM Performance Parts Aluminum Oval Port heads with 2.25" intake valves and 1.88" exhaust valves with a 110cc combustion chamber yielding a 10:1 compression ratio. Accel will be covering the lifter valley with their SuperRam Fuel Injection manifold and will be controlled by the Accel DFI fuel injection computer. Comp Cams will be providing the roller bump stick, lifters, and roller rockers. To light everything off MSD is supplying a complete ignition system. Griffen Radiators will cool everything down while all the hot gasses exit through a custom set of headers designed by Dennis. AutoMeter will monitor everything in the custom dash and make sure everything stays in one piece.

To make sure the Rat doesn't escape from the frame Dennis has machined some custom front motor plates and has integrated a rear engine support into the fire wall which will attach to the upper two bell housing bolts.

The T-56 is out of a '96 Z-28 with a few break in miles on it. Centerforce is suppling the needed clutch parts to couple the new trans to the old Rat Motor. Along with a stock '96 Z-28 bell housing and a Hurst Shiftier, everything should shift smoothly.

The interior like most everything else that was original to this car was sent away. The future for the interior of this Nova is a custom built dashboard housing a complete set of Autometer Gages. The front seats are from a late eighties/early nineties Cavalier and the entire floorboard was custom built. To keep the car practical Dennis is even going to install a small rear seat between the rear wheel wells.

The dash is being trimed out with two custom gage clusters with aluminum trim.

Weld Racing Wheels donated a set of Vitesse 5 Fordged 17" aluminum wheels for the Menace to ride on. These are from Welds new line of Fordges wheels and fill the wheel wells quite nicely on the Chevy II showing off the massive Willwood Disc Brakes. The fronts are 8" wide wraped with 245/40R17's while the rears are 10" wide with 315/35R17 skins.

Here are some pictures of my current passion, my Ariel Atom, powered by a Chevy Ecotec LSJ that I have modified extensively for more power. I am quite pleased with the Centerforce DFX clutch and flywheel assembly and am proudly wearing your Centerforce decal, as you can see in the enclosed pictures. I know that the reduced weight of the clutch/flywheel assembly is a big part of the increased throttle response and better acceleration I am enjoying! The very light pedal pressure, combined with the ability to hold big power, is a nice combination.

It was very satisfying to set records and win Top Fuel Championships on land and on water, and I feel especially blessed to be in five motorsports halls of fame, but I am having so much fun now, learning road racing in my Ariel Atoms, that it is hard to believe, and I thank you for making good reliable parts that let me do that!
