The Centerforce Jiffy-Tite Hydraulic Quick-Connect is a specialized fitting that makes servicing the transmission and clutch hydraulics a breeze. It not only eliminates the need for tools to disconnect the clutch hydraulics, disconnecting the hydraulics is a one-handed operation and there's no need to re-bleed the system once it's re-connected. This fitting, which utilizes -4 AN connections on either side, works much like the quick-connects common to compressed air hoses in an automotive shop: pulling back a spring-loaded collar allows the fitting to quickly and easily be disconnected. Reconnecting the fitting requires the same operation in reverse and takes only seconds. In addition, the fittings offer a unique dry-break feature, meaning that the respective halves of the hydraulic system remain sealed and do not leak when disconnected. Further, once the fitting is reconnected, there's no need to re-bleed the system since there has been no hydraulic fluid loss and all air remains purged from the system. Equally at home on dedicated race cars or daily drivers, this quick-disconnect saves hours of time and aggravation while paying for itself the first time anything clutch-related needs to be serviced.
